Positive Answers for Dog Aggression

When Emma Parsons, canine behavior consultant, discovered that her own dog was aggressive, she developed innovative and effective strategies to calm, alter, and re-shape his reactive displays, and those of her clients' dogs.

Emma’s approach is different from mine, though longtime BAT fans will see some similarities, too. I find it incredibly helpful to watch other trainers do their thing! Emma will be teaching an actual in-person group class for dog-to-dog aggression, and you will be able to see it all, as it happens, from the comfort of your own home.

Join us for this Live Course, starting July 10th. We meet weekly for 6 weeks at 7 am Pacific. Sessions will be 1.5 hours each (about 1 hour with dogs plus Q&A).

  • Suitable for Pet Professionals.

  • Using an operant approach to desensitize dogs to approaching strange dogs.

  • Learn to use your own body language when under stress as a cue for your dog to remain calm.

  • Safety disclosure: Emma’s instruction is tailored to the dogs and caregivers in her local class. You can extrapolate, but always use your own best judgement. If you are new to working with dog aggression, I recommend not only learning as much as you can online & from books, but also hiring a 1-1 mentor to advise you on cases with a risk of biting or fighting.

  • 6 Live Videos of On-Site Sessions

This online class will let you see how Emma Parsons teaches her group classes for dog reactivity. Emma will be teaching an in-person group class at a local facility, and will be livestreaming to our online students.

You'll be able to ask Emma questions after each class session concludes.

  • Recorded for You to Review Later

If you can attend live, definitely do, because it's more motivating and interactive. But don't worry if you can't make it, because it'll be recorded. Recordings are posted within about 24 hours of the end of each live online session.

  • Learn from the Source!

It's always a great idea to learn directly from the developer of a specific technique. Click to Calm has been around a long time, and Emma has updated it in recent years as well.
