1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
When you enrol in any of our courses, programs, or sign up as Diamond Member or a Library Pass Holder we collect the personal information you give us which includes your name and email address.
We use this data to send you important emails relating to the course(s) you have purchased, the free materials you have accessed, and/or the Membership option you have purchased.
We may also use this data to contact you about related course(s), general news in the form of our regular Newsletter, your course progress or other course/Academy updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion. We may also contact you about related content, such as items for sale in the Campus Store or in person seminars/appearances by Grisha.
2. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with your personal information to become a Diamond Member or Library Pass holder on our site, make a purchase on our site or in our Campus Store, participate in a course, sign up to a program, or access free materials, you consent to our collecting and using your data for the purposes as outlined above.
3. How do I withdraw my consent?
If you change your mind about granting us permission to use your data in this way, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you by requesting to be removed from all marketing materials at: help@grishastewart.com
We reserve the right to contact you about important changes to your purchase.
4. Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
5. Thinkific
The Grisha Stewart Academy, and Stellar Village, are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the platform that allows us to sell our products/services to you.
Your data is stored in Thinkific’s data storage, databases and in the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. By providing us with your data, you consent to it being stored on Thinkific's Data Storage Facility.
6. Payment:
If you make a purchase on our site, we will use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.

5. Third Party Services
The third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
Certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
Certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our course website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our course site, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take all reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

We may use web analysis tools that are built into school.grishastewart.com to measure and collect anonymous session information.

12. Dog Trainer Directory
By using our Our Dog Trainer Directory you agree that the only information you input is publicly available in other areas of in the internet, such as your own business page.
You agree that members of the public can contact you using the information you provide, and acknowledge that by providing a cell/mobile telephone number, members of the public may perform a reserve look up search to discover the address linked to that number.
You also acknowledge that "members of the public" may refer and also include individuals that may contact you regarding maters outside of Dog Training/Dog Professional Services.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Grisha Stewart and her agents and contractors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of this Agreement or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
