Professional Chef & Caterer

Chef Trevor Cruickshank John-Baptise

Chef Trevor Cruickshank John-Baptise (he/him) is a multiple award winning Professional Chef, Caterer and Dog Lover. Based in Surrey, UK Chef Trevor has been fascinated with great food ever since he was a small boy learning about his Caribbean culinary roots in his Grandmother's kitchen.

He started his career as a trainee working for the Marriot chain of hotels, and by 1997 was operating his own catering business "The Creole Kitchen". Since then his cooking creations have graced the tables of Bake Off Legend Pru Leith, King Juan Carlos of Spain and Princess Caroline of Monaco.

While guardian to Bert the Terrier, Trevor decided to learn more about dog nutrition, and putting his cooking skills to use, starting making meals both he and Bert could enjoy together. He went on to create Bert's Biscuits a natural line of dog treats which proved very popular in pet and health food shops up and down the county. Doggie Ice Cream, and Raw Meals followed.
Bert's passing put Trevor's plans on hold as he grieved, but now feels that the time is right to share some of his favourite human and dog friendly meals with other dog enthusiasts.

Trevor is a multi awarding winning Chef having won the prestigious Caterer of the Year award for both 2023, and 2024 and is a past winner of the Salon Culinaire British Open Cookery Championship. He lives in Surrey with his Husband Chris, and their turtle Flash.
