Canine body language should absolutely be included in grooming training. This was wonderfully informative. I now understand which types of equipment are best to try for each type of coat. I didn't need to learn about line brushing or which brush to use on which coat. It sounds like the agenda changed at the last minute because "there are other experts that cover this elsewhere in the Academy".

I love how Sue gives insights in the process of the salons so thar dog owners can understand what are the stressing factors and how they can help their dog with all kinds of preperation apart from the training itself. It's a pity that these things aren't taught in groomer schools so that more groomers would focus more on happy than on pretty dogs, thanks for raising that awareness
