Your dog is the most adorable dog (of course), so why don’t you have the best photos? Being able to take great photos is also useful for professional dog trainers, groomers, dog walkers, vets, and shelters. Eye-catching photos make social media and websites stand out.

In this online course, professional pet photographer Kerry Jordan will be working with 3 clients on how to take great photos of dogs. She’ll meet with them in a small class format for 4 weeks. As a student, you’ll be in on the Zoom call to observe the sessions and take your own photos. After the client sessions, Kerry will answer audience questions.

September 11, 18, 25 & October 2 at 10 am Pacific / 6 pm London. 1.5 hours per session.

  • Train your eyes to see what makes a good image.

  • Selfies with your dog.

  • Simple explanations of the jargon: Covering Fstops/Aperture, Shutter Speed, why Manual mode isn’t always the best, what is ISO and when you need to think about changing it.

  • Resolve common issues: blurry photos, action shots, black dogs, photographing inside.

  • All live sessions will also be recorded for you to watch later.

Kerry Jordan of Fur and Fables (UK) has been photographing dogs professionally for over 6 years. She has images published and has written for The Times, has images published in the The Independent and Dogs Today magazine, and has spoken on BBC Kent Radio helping owners create better images of their dogs.

Kerry is a self-taught photographer who works with both dog owners and dog brands to create images on location. I've invited her to teach on my site because of her talent and also her fundamental belief that creating a way for dogs to feel comfortable is the best way to get magical shots.
