I so appreciate this and Simone's other Webinars and am also (finally) finishing her Focus Challenge currently and want to take her Master Class. All that she has had to offer has been so helpful and I'm starting to see progress with my high drive rescue dog with the Focus Challenge and each webinar like this that keeps adding to my tool box to help my boy (me). :) I'm so grateful & relieved to find Simone. *Also want to Take Grisha's "Walk With Me" using BAT empowerment. Looking forward to all of it!! Thanks All!!

Like all of Simones courses, another great one to help to understand why your hunting dog just can't be as relaxed as you might expect him to do after some leash training. Insights into genetical reasons help to understand whats going on in your dog as soon as he goes on a walk, which means go on a hunt for him, while the owner wants to relax and disconnect. A perfect addition to all her predation substitute courses and Grishas Walk with me course to enjoy relaxed walks with your former overly arroused dog

Simone's presentation was so much more than about how to make your dog walk with a loose leash, but the motivations behind their behavior, how to meet their needs based on their motivations, and how to help them deal with arousal in the enviroment. So much great information!

This seminar re-works how you know your walking companion so that you can understand how they understand a companionable walk. It then gives actionable tools to explain to your friend-from-another-species what you need from them so that you both enjoy walks. I have my first working breed dog, and with Simone’s courses, we have built a relationship beyond what I could have imagined. We don’t just work together, we are communicating about how he experiences the world and what I need from him so we can explore more of the human world together.

Teaching a high-drive dog to stop pulling on the lead can feel impossible.

But you are not alone in this journey!

Navigating the world of loose leash walking with a high-energy dog can feel like a rollercoaster of frustration and hope. Every tug on the leash, every distracted sniff, seems to echo the struggle of countless walks before.

It's true that dogs with a high prey-drive need a special approach to achieve loose lead walking - an approach that is which is often missing from most conventional training protocols.

Simone Müller introduces us to Walking Together! A method specially designed for high prey drive, and high energy dogs to kindly teach loose lead leash walking skills.

Recorded June 2024.

Library Passholders will have access to the recording starting approximately July 14th 2024.

  • Perfect for dog trainers and behaviorists who work with high energy/high drive dogs. Suitable for caregivers who may be new to the protocol too!

  • Understand the root cause of why dogs with a strong prey drive are pulling on the leash. Simone's reasons may surprise you!

  • Examine why common loose lead walking advice isn’t always the right choice.

  • Learn which mistakes are commonly made with high drive dogs and how you can best avoid them.

  • Discover the first steps you can take now to start your loose lead walking journey the right way!

  • This webinar and whole lot more is included with a Diamond Membership All Access Pass. For one low price per month, you get access to all of our emotionally enriching dog courses. See if Diamond is right for you.

Carly has been learning about animal behavior, both academically and in a hands-on capacity, since high school. She's been training dogs professionally since 2006, and very quickly began to focus on helping dogs with more severe behavior issues. She's worked at Ahimsa Dog Training (the training facility Grisha founded) since 2007, and her own dog, Fiona, benefited enormously from the development of BAT.

The behavior nerd in Carly got greedy for more information, and she completed a PhD in Animal Behavior at the University of Washington. She's currently working with a national welfare organization, trying to shape top notch behavioral support for animals in the shelter through coaching and research contributions.
