I learned a lot: aggression can be treated using the same science-based methods as other behaviors; I got better at reading body language, Michael points out subtle signs of stress in the dogs; was reminded of the importance of breaking complex behaviors/situations into small sessions, building long-term success through tiny steps; got some ideas when to use operant conditioning and when to use classical conditioning; and finally, got to view all of Michael's set ups.
Kudos to the clients. They did a great job of filming the sessions. The fact that they were already good trainers made the class more valuable for students. I watched all of the sessions with Michael and the clients, and many of the client training sessions. There's lots of video so it does take some time and patience. I found it most beneficial to watch at 1.25X much of the time and slow down during critical sections, watching key portions as many times as I needed to really see and understand what was happening.
