Can aggression be coached remotely? Yes!

Mike coached two clients live online with their own dogs in Intra-household dog-dog aggression cases - that's a fancy way of saying the dogs from the same household were fighting or otherwise showing aggression to each other. In each session, he met with two separate clients on the dog-dog issues in their homes.

I’m thrilled that Mike is back again as a guest instructor. This unique opportunity to share with you how he coaches dog-dog aggression cases online!

The 4 live sessions were taught over 6 weeks, 1.5 - 2 hours per session. All consult sessions are recorded for you to access, as well as many sessions of the clients training their dogs alone per Mike's advice.

  • 2 cases of dog-dog aggression within the home.

  • Mike's second class with us. His dog-human course was a huge hit!

  • Excellent chance for trainers to see how to coach clients online.

  • Most of these techniques also apply to aggression to other dogs outside of the household, as well.

  • It's not too late to see Mike in action! All live sessions were recorded.

  • 8 CCPDT, 8 IAABC, KPA CEUs.

  • Included with Diamond Membership (see below).

  • We also have a Library Pass which lets you stream this course and a lot of other pre recorded content. Find out more on the Library Pass Page.

Live consultations on two separate cases.

Watch how Mike coached these families to bring peace to their homes.

  • All Videos!

This was a live video course. You'll get to see Michael take a history with the clients and dig in on training sessions.

Multiple student practice sessions also included.

CEUs (CCPDT & IAABC) Available for Course Purchasers and Diamond Members

8 CEUs for CCPDT, 8 IAABC CEUs, KPA, 4 for CCBC.

  • Perfect Timing

This series couldn't come at a better time for dog trainers who need to still work during a quarantine. Michael has been teaching remotely for years.

From a student in his dog-human course: "Thank you for hosting Michael. I have seen him before for aggression and this was excellent and affordable."

  • Ask Anything!

This course was attended live by many professional dog trainers and clients with their own dogs. The recordings include their questions for Michael during the sessions.

Course students are also eligible to be in the GrishaStewart.com Facebook group to discuss the course or anything else dog training related.

This online course, hosted by Grisha Stewart and presented by Michael Shikashio, walks step by step through two cases of aggression between dogs in the same home. This course was fantastic and highly recommended for trainers, like myself, who wanted to be extra prepared for these kinds of cases, and owners who would like to learn more about how to deal with this struggle. Absolutely fantastic and invaluable information.

I very much enjoy everything Grisha brings to the world. I am so happy I crossed paths with her and now I am so happy to be a Diamond member of her website. Michael Shikashio is so calm and clear in his instructions and how he communicates to the audience and the clients. I love all the videos the clients posted and how you could see the progression and improvement of their dogs. I love the smoothness of all the technology, everything worked perfectly every week and the clients having the double camera set up was really great. Thank you for such a great experience. I learned a lot: aggression can be treated using the same science-based methods as other behaviors; I got better at reading body language, Michael points out subtle signs of stress in the dogs; was reminded of the importance of breaking complex behaviors/situations into small sessions, building long-term success through tiny steps; got some ideas when to use operant conditioning and when to use classical conditioning; and finally, got to view all of Michael's set ups. Kudos to the clients. They did a great job of filming the sessions. The fact that they were already good trainers made the class more valuable for students. I watched all of the sessions with Michael and the clients, and many of the client training sessions. There's lots of video so it does take some time and patience. I found it most beneficial to watch at 1.25X much of the time and slow down during critical sections, watching key portions as many times as I needed to really see and understand what was happening.
