In 2010, I started traveling worldwide to teach dog trainers about BAT. In 2014 I developed BAT 2.0 and also started this online dog training and behavior school, the Grisha Stewart Academy which now has over 140 classes from my favorite emotionally intelligent dog and human behavior experts. I also co-host a podcast at The Lesson is Love.

As an outgoing introvert, I enjoy teaching at cooperative conferences and am so grateful to be able to offer classes about dogs online. I refresh my batteries by singing, expressing grief in community, and savoring life in the woods with my husband (Tom), Labrador (Joey), cat (Garbanzo aka "Adventure Kitty" and "Baby Panther"), and Little Brown Dog (Zuki).

This online course is unique in addressing the training needs of juvenile dogs (not baby puppies), illustrated by two young dogs. I especially liked Grisha's emphasis on teaching a small number of cues and skills well, rather than a lot of different tricks poorly. Her spot-on observations and guidance are delivered gently and in a collaborative fashion that is easy on the trainees (human and canine). I really enjoyed Chief's "before" videos, which are full of teaching pearls for real life challenges. My only two suggestions for future recorded class sessions are technical - fine-tune the videography and reduce distracting interruptions.
